About Me
Hi, I'm Tom. I worked as a Strategy and Operations Manager at Revolut and Bizops at Truth Systems. In another life I studied economics and finance and did summer internships at investment banks. I enjoy travelling to Japan every year and taking photos (the photo above was taken at Hokkaido University, the most beautiful campus I've ever seen), and having been putting on and off learning the language.
My current favorite tv shows are "The Bear", "Culinary Class Wars" and "Frieren". I had the opportunity to do my masters in Japan and decided against it to pursue a career in startups, and sometimes I still think about it. I'm focused on data engineering (python/sql), AI engineering with typescript, growth engineering, and inference/training economics.
