About Me
I'm Tom and this is my static blog. I'm currently working at Vinny as Special Projects Engineer, a startup focusing on AI for property management. This came right after my property management startup Ibasho had shutdown, and now I am continuing where I left off.
I previously worked as a Strategy and Operations Manager at Revolut, Bizops at Truth Systems (YC S25) and before that worked briefly as a credit analyst at an investment bank. I primarily focused on on building data pipelines and product engineering. Typescript and python are my bread and butter and I will sometimes moonlight as an FDE.
I enjoy travelling to Japan every year and taking photos (the photo above was taken at Hokkaido University), and having been putting on and off learning the language. I also like to make espressos with beans roasted from around the world, with a preference for local roasteries.
